From brands (our customers): account details (name, email, password hash), store/product catalog data, billing status. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
From consumers submitting a complaint: the details entered on a brand's complaint form — name, email, phone (optional), order number, the products and issues described, and any photos uploaded. This data is collected on behalf of the brand you bought from, which controls it.
From manufacturing partners: account details and refund-request activity. Partners see consumer details only to the extent the brand allows — by default, name and order number only.
To operate the service: showing complaints to the right brand and its authorized partners, sending the email notifications you asked for (submission confirmations, status updates, refund-request alerts), and improving the product. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use consumer complaint data for advertising.
Consumers receive a transactional confirmation with their private tracking link, and further updates only if they opted in. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link.
Data is shared with the brand the complaint was submitted to, with partners that brand authorizes (limited fields), and with the processors that run the service (hosting, email delivery, Stripe for payments). We disclose data if the law requires it.
Complaint data is kept while the brand's account is active so history and totals stay accurate. Consumers may ask the brand — or us directly — to delete their personal data; we honor verified requests unless we must keep a record by law.
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to complaint data is scoped per brand and per partner permission.
